About Me

jim
My wife and I raised two children with autism spectrum disorders and a laundry list of food intolerances, including soy, egg and peanuts. Feeding them became challenging, costly and wrong-decisions impacted their health. We turned to GFCF foods in the mid-2000s and started this blog to document the journey, share recipes, review products and generally share with others on similar journeys. We're not physicians, nutritionists or experts of any kind. Yet, we've found healthy GFCF recipes and products that satisfy the gluten free and casein free diet. Some of our GFCF recipes are original while others have been widely shared online over the years - and we certainly don't take credit. We hope you find some value from our site. We try to be as honest and transparent as possible. We cite references when warranted. We specify when businesses have sent us products to review. We disclose any affiliate marketing benefits when applicable.
